The spirituality of Bugs Bunny, rector's letter

This month's reflection, "From Bugs Bunny to Don Quixote," considers the unchangeable laws of the spiritual life and the constant need to keep the roots of evil in mind to avoid slowly falling into grave error. Is Bugs Bunny an accurate reflection of the spiritual life? Unfortunately, the consequences of errors made in the spiritual life are usually not immediately felt. What happens over time to a soul after it falls into error is detrimental and slowly may lead to a distortion of reality. To avoid this, one needs to be engaged in a daily fight.
