7 new priests, 9 new deacons
The Seminary announces with great joy the ordination of priests and deacons at the close of the academic year 2015-16.
It was a beautiful, sunny day on which the Catholic Church welcomed seven new priests and nine new deacons. This year the rain held off until after the banquet which took place after the Pontifical Mass of ordinations.
The subdeacons who were ordained to the diaconate are:

After the ordinations Mass, the newly ordained priests commenced giving their first blessings to the large number of faithful present and continued after the banquet.
These are the final ordinations to take place at the seminary's location in Winona. After this, St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary's ordination history will speak of Dillwyn, Virginia.
